The Executive provides overall management direction to the KHSC staff and collaborates with other Government departments and agencies in achieving the broad goals and objectives of the KHSC and to find interdepartmental solutions to the issues facing housing. It provides an essential coordinating function in strategic planning, policy development and in the development of operational guidelines on the business of the KHSC. In addition, the Executive is also responsible for providing support to the concerned in order to ensure that the KHSC meets the requirements of the modern era.

The Strategic Planning, Policy and communications Branch of the KHSC provides long-term strategic direction and planning which responsible for representing the long term planning. This Branch is also responsible for strategic and business planning, policy development, selfgovernment and land claims coordination, qualitative and quantitative research, and internal/external communications.
